Spicy Cold Brew Steak Marinade

This is the last recipe in a series of four highlighting how to pair hot sauce and coffee.

Savory cold brew is a thing, and we are sold! Whip up a quick spicy marinade, fire up the grill, and pretend it is summer.

  • 1 c cold brew concentrate

  • 1/4 c maple syrup

  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped or crushed

  • 2 sprigs rosemary, chopped

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp Burns and McCoy Devorandum


  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and pour over a steak. We used a 1.5 lb skirt steak.

  2. Let sit at least one hour preferably overnight.

  3. Grill!
